Join our dynamic team as an On-Call Cleaner, dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various facilities. This role offers flexible scheduling to fit your availability while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. As a crucial part of our operations, you will help create a positive experience for visitors, staff, and clients by delivering exceptional cleaning services whenever needed across the GTA.
Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall facility upkeep and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of Residential & commercial spaces, including floors, restrooms, bedrooms, housing and offices ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and presentable
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as trash removal, replenishing own cleaning supplies, and detailed cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards
- Respond promptly to on-call requests for cleaning or maintenance needs across multiple locations across the GTA (Durham, Scarborough, Peel, etc)
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and any issues encountered during shifts
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning environments with a focus on quality and efficiency (1-2 years)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and management—reporting any issues promptly
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in compliance with safety regulations
- Flexibility to be available on an on-call basis for various shifts as needed
