Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. At this time, we are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Cleaner to join us at The Alexander in Halifax, NS. If you enjoy interacting with others, are passionate about providing a clean and safe environment for residents, and take pride in a job well done, this may be the role for you!

What you will do:

- Operate vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas as well as amenity spaces;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;
- Other duties as required.

Who you are:

- Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;




- Must have a robust attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
