Role Description The Clinical Education Resource Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for overseeing clinical education resources that support health-related programs and experiential learning. This role manages the planning, organization, and optimization of clinical labs, equipment, and instructional materials to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality learning environments. The manager collaborates with faculty, program leads, and external partners to align resources with curriculum needs, accreditation requirements, and evolving industry standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating scheduling and utilization of clinical spaces, supervising staff who support lab operations, and maintaining inventory, procurement, and maintenance of specialized equipment and supplies. The role also involves developing and updating resource-related policies and procedures,



monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in clinical education delivery.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in managing clinical or educational resources, including scheduling, space utilization, and coordination of labs or simulation environments.
- Knowledge of clinical education practices, healthcare or allied health programs, and relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage complex operational workflows.
- Proficiency with digital tools and learning technologies used in clinical education, such as simulation equipment, electronic records, or lab management systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with faculty, staff, learners, and external partners in a diverse academic environment.
- Experience supervising or leading staff teams, including training, performance support, and fostering a culture of safety and quality.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and student-centered practices within an educational institution.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., health sciences, education, healthcare administration, or related discipline); equivalent experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in a college, university, clinical education, or healthcare setting is a strong asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, with flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend activities as needed.
