We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator & Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining an automated woodworking processing division.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing an automated Homag sheet storage system
- Overseeing an automated Homag nested-based CNC router
- Operating a Homag dowel machine
- Operating a Homag edgebander
- Programming remake parts and basic shop parts
- Conduct regular quality control checks on completed work
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the manufacturing area.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, assembly, or machining tasks to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC operator and programmer
- Knowledge in CNC programming using CAD/CAM software such as WoodWop, CabinetVision and S2M is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment.
- Self-Motivated, organized, punctual, and self-driven
- Robust attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
