Elizabeth Centre is a fully accredited long term care home in Val Caron, Ontario and serves 128 residents. Val Caron, situated in Northeastern Ontario, is located approximately 18 km north of the City of Sudbury's downtown core. Under the direction of the Director of Care, the Co-Director of Care (RN) performs nursing skills in accordance with the standards of nursing practice as outlined by the College of Nurses to ensure the provision of optimum care for each individual resident.

The Co-Director of Care (RN) is responsible and accountable for the coordination, implementation and overall management of essential programs to the home which could include wound care, infection control, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

The Co-Director of Care (RN) is also required to adhere to safety protocols, contribute to policy development, and ensure the accuracy of resident assessment data. A key component of the position involves staff management, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and di
