We are seeking a detail-oriented Photography Colour Editor to join our creative team on a part-time contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical eye for colour accuracy, exceptional file organization skills, and experience working within a fast-paced fashion or apparel environment.
Working closely with our in-house creative team, you'll help ensure that all e-commerce and marketing imagery meets our quality standards while maintaining efficient workflows with both local and overseas retouching partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Colour correct and match apparel photography to ensure products are represented accurately across all digital channels.
- Manage, organize, archive, and maintain photography files and digital assets.
- Prepare and distribute files to internal teams and overseas retouching partners.
- Perform occasional image retouching when required.
- Review returned imagery from external retouching vendors, providing quality control and feedback to ensure consistency and brand standards.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house retoucher and photography team to maintain production timelines.
- Ensure all files meet technical specifications before final delivery.
- Assist in improving workflow efficiencies and maintaining organized digital asset management practices.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in photography colour editing, post-production, or digital imaging.
- Experience within the apparel, fashion, or retail industry is considered a robust asset.
- Excellent understanding of colour management and colour consistency across digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Bridge.
- Experience with Capture One is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with external production partners is an asset.
