A career as a Product Owner on the Digital Treasury Strategy & Delivery team at National Bank means acting as a leader in delivering major projects related to treasury products in the digital channel. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization through your influence, analytical skills, ability to solve complex problems, rigour, attentiveness to business needs, decision-making ability, and mobilizing leadership.
Your role:
- Act as a Product Owner (PO – according to the SAFe/Agile methodology) on complex projects by translating the business vision into concrete features that optimize the end-to-end client experience.
- Be responsible for delivering initiatives and contribute to the solutions roadmap, taking into account the specific needs of commercial clients and their complete journey.
- Break down and sequence a target vision in order to maximize delivered value, prioritizing features related to treasury management products based on their impact on commercial clients, operational constraints, and interdependencies with other projects or sectors.
- Build, manage, and prioritize the product backlog to achieve the business vision, define the MVP, and guide the delivery team toward the items that create the most value for commercial clients.
- Support and facilitate change adoption, secure stakeholder buy-in, and manage resistance, while maintaining a robust understanding of the operational, transactional, and relationship-related issues specific to commercial clients.
- Continuously improve and correct solutions to enhance the client experience, meet current and future needs, and strengthen the relevance of treasury management products offered to businesses.
Your team:
Within the sector, you are part of a team mainly composed of Product Owners and SMEs, totaling 12 colleagues. The team is primarily responsible for delivering initiatives within the large backlog of the BDB program, Business Digital Banking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
- Experience delivering solutions as a Product Owner (PO).
- Ability to work in Agile mode: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and to deliver without having all specifications.
- Knowledge of commercial client needs.
- Ability to work with external vendors.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
Languages: French
