Compensation: $55–$62/hour + Overtime & Premium On-Call Pay

Total Compensation: Approximately $70–$80/hour

Kellow Recruiting is working on behalf of a well-established and growing mechanical services organization to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Fitter 1 (G1) / Boiler Service Technician for the Greater Toronto Area.

Equipment You'll Work On

You'll service and maintain a wide range of commercial mechanical and heating equipment, including:
- Commercial boilers
- Hydronic heating systems
- Make-up air units (MUAs)
- Rooftop units (RTUs)
- Pumps
- Heat exchangers




- Domestic hot water systems
- Gas-fired equipment
- Mechanical room systems

What You'll Be Doing

- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial gas-fired equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Service commercial boiler and hydronic heating systems.
- Complete start-ups and commissioning of heating equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and combustion-related issues.
- Complete service reports and work orders.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining safe work practices.

What We're Looking For

Required

- Valid Gas Technician 1 (G1) Licence
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract
- Minimum 5 years of commercial gas service experience
- Experience servicing commercial boiler systems
- Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional customer service and communication skills

Preferred

Experience with any of the following is an asset:
- Rooftop units (RTUs)
- Make-up air units (MUAs)
- High-rise residential or commercial buildings
- Commercial plumbing and hydronic systems
- Pumps
- Heat exchangers
- Mechanical room systems
