Job Overview

We are looking for an organized and reliable Commercial Garage Door Parts Manager to manage our parts department and support our service and installation teams. This position requires a robust understanding of commercial garage doors, hardware, and related products.

The Parts

Manager will work closely with the Service, Installation, Sales, and Operations teams to identify parts requirements, maintain appropriate inventory levels, source materials, and ensure orders are received, organized, and distributed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and organize commercial garage door parts and related inventory.

· Prepare and manage parts for service and installation orders.

· Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure parts are properly labeled, organized, and stored.

· Monitor inventory levels and identify items requiring replenishment.

· Establish and maintain appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels for commonly used parts.





· Pick up parts and materials from our suppliers as required.

· Receive, check, and organize incoming shipments as well as overseeing returns.

· Maintain accurate inventory and keep the parts area clean and organized.

· Work with technicians and management to ensure the correct parts are available when needed.

· Assist with purchasing and sourcing parts when required.

· Use computer systems for inventory, ordering, and record keeping.

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Good computer skills and ability to learn inventory software.

· Clean driver's record and valid driver's license required.

· Ability to lift and move heavy parts and materials.

· Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of commercial garage doors is an asset.

· Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

· Previous experience in garage doors, construction, automotive, or a related industry is an asset.

This is a hands-on position requiring regular heavy lifting, warehouse work, and driving to supplier locations.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
