This role drives automation, operational excellence, and standardized delivery across data pipelines, enabling a high-performing “data supply chain” that supports timely, trusted business decisions.ResponsibilitiesPlatform Reliability & Data OperationsOwn end-to-end operational stability of data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and platform components.Lead External Support team to ensure automated Monitoring of failed jobs, piplelines and ensure resolution of data incidents, failures, and SLA breaches proactivelyAutomation & Operational EfficiencyDrive automation of BAU processes, reducing manual intervention across ingestion, transformation, and deliverySimplify fragmented tools and workflows into standardized, scalable patternsEnable repeatable, low-touch operations across data engineering teamsCost Optimization (FinOps for Data Platform)Monitor and optimize GCP infrastructure, compute, and storage costsIdentify inefficiencies across data pipelines and workloadsImplement cost control mechanisms, aligning platform usage with business valueCI/CD & Data Pipeline DeliveryDesign and implement CI/CD frameworks for:Data pipelinesTransformation layers (e.G., dbt models)ML/AI workflows where applicableEnsure version control, automated testing, and reliable deploymentsEnable faster,



consistent delivery with reduced production riskStandards & Best PracticesDefine and enforce data platform standards, frameworks, and reusable componentsEstablish consistent practices for pipeline design, deployment, and monitoringReduce variability across ingestion and processing patternsCross-Functional EnablementPartner with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Business/Data Operations teamsSupport delivery squads in achieving SLAs, reliability targets, and platform adoption goalsAct as a central enabler for data platform scalability and operational excellenceQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering) or related field of studyRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Data Engineering / DevOps / SRE within cloud environments (preferably GCP)Proven expertise in:Data pipeline orchestration (Airflow/Composer or equivalent)CI/CD tools and frameworksMonitoring and observability toolsDeep understanding of:Distributed data processing (Spark, BigQuery, etc.)Data platform architecture and ingestion frameworksExperience driving automation, cost optimization, and operational maturityLeadership & Behavioral ExpectationsStrong ownership mindset with focus on operational excellence and continuous improvementAbility to drive standardization across distributed teamsProactive in identifying risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesCollaborative leadership across cross-functional data squadsSuccess MetricsReduction in pipeline failures and incident resolution timeImprovement in SLA adherence and data reliabilityReduction in platform costs through optimization initiativesIncrease in automation coverage and operational efficiencyStandardization and adoption of best practices across teamsAt the company, every action and interaction we take part in,
