Job Schedule: Day Shift

Compensation Range: Between $75,000 - $115,000 CDN annually

About your next Challenge as a Component Integration Engineering Specialist:

What will you do:

- Select mechanical and electronic components used for the control of naval platforms
- Coordinate with suppliers in the development of equipment suitable for naval environments
- Coordinate with software and hardware teams to define equipment requirements
- Stay at the forefront in advances in technology in the marine control industry
- Prepare test procedures and reports for equipment environmental qualification testing
- Review customer specifications to develop traceable system requirements
- Review environmental requirements on naval programs
- Support to obsolescence management for in-service programs

Required Skills and Experiences:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in naval or aerospace engineering




- Experience with military or industrial environmental qualification standards or specifications (e.g. MIL-STD-901, MIL-STD-187A)
- Experience with computer integration and testing
- Familiarity with computer design
- Familiarity with ship classification society standards (e.g. Lloyds Register, DNV) is an asset
- Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
