We are looking for someone curious and analytical to do market research and outreach, valuations, financial modelling, CIM's, to provide marketing support and proposals for clients of WCP. Duties and ResponsibilitiesValuationsAssist in the research and preparation of reports for business valuation of private companiesPrepare requests for documents and communicate with clients including correspondence preparation and follow-upAnalyze financial statements and documentsPrepare financial analysis and modelsMergers & Acquisitions/Capital Analyze client financial statements and relevant documentationBuild financial models and confidential information memorandums (CIMs)Identify,
analyze and rank potential buyersCoordinate with clients during the due diligence processAssist in managing deal flowWork on special projects as requiredAdministrative/MarketingPrepare management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations as requiredConduct industry and economic researchTrack client, prospect and engagement information in HubSpotAssist with AI related initiativesQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in field related to the positionPursuing a skilled designation (CPA, CBV, CFA, MBA, JD)Experience in one of the following areas would be an asset: investment or commercial banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, legal, valuation, or an accounting focus (can include internship or co-op positions)Some experience with financial modeling, including analysis of financial statements and preparation of integrated 3-statement financial models without supervisionKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesGood technical/working knowledge in the following areas: accounting and tax principals; Valuation; Economics; Mergers and acquisitions; Financial modellingUnderstanding of financial statements and general accounting principlesWillingness to take ownership of tasks and work both collaboratively or independently in a demanding, fast paces and dynamic work environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively conduct researchMeticulous attention to detailConscientiousness towards client needs and requirementsAbility to extract useful information from large sets of unorganized or incomplete dataDemonstrated problem solving abilities to provide alternative solutions to complex issuesDemonstrated determination, creative thinking, resilience, and goal-orientationExcellent interpersonal, presentation,
