Reporting to the RONA Division Manager, this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking and merchandising, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring a clean and organized work workplace.

The Role

- Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs.

- Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.

- Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.

- Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.





- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.

- Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.

- Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

The Ideal Candidate

- Has 1 to 2 years of work experience in a lumber yard.

- Have experience in customer service.

- Be bilingual - French / English.

- Be available for day and every other weekend work.

- Have excellent problem-solving skills.

- Have the ability to perform work requiring outdoor physical exertion and standing for long periods of time.

- Forklift certified.
