The Custodial Aide will work alongside the Head Custodian and Custodian toperform general cleaning duties and grounds/building maintenance. This position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:As the Custodial Aide, you will assist in the general cleaning of school/building – maintains the classroom, hallways, washrooms,ancillary spaces, and grounds in a safe and clean conditionsQUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):Completion of Grade 10Completion of Respect In School or equivalent training is required.Related work experience in cleaning and or maintenance is considered as an assetKnowledge of WHMIS, Workplace Safety and Health is preferredAbility to operate light cleaning equipment and tools, i.E., vacuum, mops, brooms, duster, etc.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directionAbility to work respectfully and effectively in accordance with Divisional policies and guidelinesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to maintain regular attendanceRespect confidentiality of workAbility to read and write in EnglishProficient in Microsoft outlookMust be able to communicate in a pleasant, courteous,
