About the Role

We are looking for a senior EWIS Specialist to join our engineering team in Montreal, QC. This is a permanent, hybrid position (3 days onsite per week).

We are open to candidates specializing in either 3D Harness Routing & Design OR Wiring & Schematics (W&S;).

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your primary area of specialization, your key responsibilities will include:

Option 1: EWIS 3D Design Focus

- Design and route electrical harnesses using CATIA V5 Electrical.
- Develop installation solutions taking into account environmental, spatial, and manufacturing constraints.
- Perform harness packaging studies, clash resolutions, quality checks, and export XML data.
- Execute engineering change actions (PLM), release processes, and documentation updates.
- Guide and review the technical output of junior engineers.

Option 2: EWIS Wiring & Schematics (W&S;) Focus

- Lead electrical system design throughout the lifecycle (ESSDs, Wiring Diagrams, harness documentation,



design changes).
- Manage electrical architecture, wiring systems, and equipment integration.
- Incorporate design changes (RFCs, PCRs, ECRs) and support release/configuration management.
- Estimate engineering effort, support project planning, and assist with manufacturing/troubleshooting.
- Mentor and guide team members through technical reviews.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in EWIS design and electrical system integration.
- Licensure: Registered as a Qualified Engineer with the OIQ (Ing.).
- Language: Fluent in English (Mandatory); French proficiency is a plus.
- Role Specific Skills:
- For 3D Design: Proficient in CATIA V5 Electrical Harness Installation and routing.
- For W&S;: Expertise in Aircraft Electrical Schematics (ESSDs) and Wiring Diagrams (WDs).
