and issue purchase orders to preferred vendors.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.Monitor and recommend appropriate inventory levels for materials and consumables.Schedule and expedite material deliveries as required.Review vendor invoices against orders to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Execute material return procedures and secure credits from suppliers.Maintain organized purchase order records.Must-haves:3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, ideally in construction or mechanical contracting.Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and vendors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.Eligible for reliability security clearance.Nice-to-haves:Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction industry experience.Resourceful problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.This is a new position.
