Responsibilities include assessing risk, negotiating with brokers, conducting follow-ups for renewal details, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Collaborate with underwriters to support a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Execute underwriting support functions to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.Review and assess renewal submissions to evaluate risk, determine premiums, coverage limits, and policy terms in alignment with underwriting standards and guidelines.Collect and analyze policy information, securing underwriter approval as required within delegated authority.Prepare, quote, and bind renewal terms and conditions in accordance with company underwriting standards.Conduct regular follow-ups with brokers and stakeholders to obtain renewal information and facilitate timely processing.Apply retention strategies to maintain existing business and contribute to team performance goals.Manage endorsement and cancellation requests, ensuring accurate premium calculations within individual underwriting authority.Respond promptly and professionally to underwriting-related inquiries from brokers and internal stakeholders.Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONLevel 1 General Insurance LicenseQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
