Ontario Panelization is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Driver/Material Handler. Our company is a leading manufacturer and installer of engineered wall systems for high-profile institutional and commercial construction projects throughout Ontario.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and reliable. The Driver/Material Handler will be responsible for inventory accuracy and movement of materials within the facility. This role includes using a forklift to load and unload materials from transportation vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Driving

- Ensure timely and safe delivery of shipments
- Assist in planning and scheduling deliveries
- Assist in loading and unloading the truck
- Other duties as required

Material Handling:
- Picking, checking and shipping materials accurately and efficiently
- Crating project materials as required by documentation/packing slips
- Crating materials that have been returned from construction sites
- Counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking materials
- Ensure cleanliness of yard and maintain organizational systems

Inventory Management:
- Recording inventory using Vista
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating material shortages in advance
- Check incoming deliveries to ensure ordered material meets quality standards
- Repack material coming from site – Adding to inventory
- Cleaning, disposing of garbage coming from site – Freeing up crates




- Performing Production Associate responsibilities during periods of downtime
- Using a forklift to load and unload trucks with materials (crates, A-frames, bundles) multiple times per day
- Works in a safe manner and considers safety in all aspects of job

Skills and Abilities:

- Exceptional attention to detail and accurate record management
- Familiarity with RF devices is an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to use technology (tablets, computers, phones) is required
- Excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Vista is an asset

Requirements:

- Class G license is required
- Clean driving record
- Highschool diploma is required
- Forklift Operator License is required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Able to handle squatting, reaching, and repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to work occasional overtime with advance notice is required
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions year-round
