Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drywaller and Steel Stud Framer to join our commercial construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall, framing with steel studs, and ensuring all interior wall structures are built to precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, durable, and visually appealing interior spaces.

Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets with accuracy and attention to detail
- Frame interior walls using steel studs according to blueprints and project specifications
- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Perform caulking around joints and seams to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Use handyman skills for minor repairs, adjustments, and finishing touches on drywall and framing projects




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards

Experience

- Proven construction experience with drywall installation and steel stud framing
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Carpentry skills complemented by handyman experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and relevant equipment safely
- Prior experience in commercial or residential construction projects preferred
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude
