BGC Dieppe is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our licensed Early Learning Centre as a co-educator in one of our three classrooms:
- 15 months–2 years
- 2–3 years
- Mixed 3–5 years
We are looking for a dependable and confident educator with proven experience working in childcare who can contribute to a positive, structured and engaging classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate or equivalent that is already recognized and approved by the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is required and should be clearly demonstrated on your resume.
The successful candidate will
- Have robust classroom management, organization and routine-building skills.
- Understand child development and the NB Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Education.
- Use positive and developmentally appropriate behaviour guidance.
- Be dependable,
patient and flexible.
- Work well as part of a team and communicate professionally with families and colleagues.
- Hold or be willing to obtain required First Aid/CPR and Department clearances.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time – 40 hours per week
Rotating shifts: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
$23.69–$27.79/hour, determined by the Department based on education and years of experience.
