- Building positive, respectful relationships with children and responding appropriately to their individual needs.
- Working collaboratively with other educators to plan, prepare, and implement stimulating, age-appropriate programming.
- Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Participating fully as a member of a team and contributing to a positive and supportive workplace.
- Communicating respectfully and openly with coworkers, children, families, and community partners.
- Following established routines, policies, procedures, and daily practices.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized learning environment.
- Participating in professional development and maintaining current ECE qualifications and certifications.
- Performing other duties related to the care and well-being of children as required.

- Are patient, caring, positive, and responsive to children's needs.
- Are willing to learn, grow, accept feedback, and participate in professional development.
- Can adapt to the changing needs and interests of children and the classroom.
