ABOUT US
Wildwood Child Care Centre is a licensed North Vancouver childcare facility offering nature-based and play-based programs for children from infancy through school age.
MAIN DUTIES
- Plan and implement age-appropriate ECE programs Supervise and mentor junior ECE staff and assistants
- Lead daily activities: arts, outdoor play, structured learning Orient new staff to centre routines and philosophy
- Observe and document children's developmental progress Communicate regularly with families on child development
- Provide attentive supervision and hands-on child care Maintain attendance, incident, and developmental records
- Ensure safety and well-being of all children at all times Support BC childcare licensing compliance and inspections
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- ECE Certificate or Diploma — BC Child Care Licensing recognized Infant/Toddler certification is an asset
- Valid BC ECE Certificate (Basic or above), BCR in good standing Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed childcare setting Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Supervisory or senior ECE experience is an asset
