Duties
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing educational activities tailored to young children’s developmental needs
- Provide compassionate caregiving support to children with diverse abilities, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Support daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with best practices in early childhood education
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning exercises, and social interactions to promote cognitive and emotional development
- Collaborate with team members to adapt activities for children with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain a clean,
organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Document observations of children’s progress and communicate effectively with educators and parents
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong teaching abilities with a focus on nurturing developmentally appropriate practices
- Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience and active listening
- Ability to adapt activities for diverse learning styles and abilities
