Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical engineering studies, calculations, and design activities for nuclear facility upgrades and modifications.
- Develop and review electrical design packages, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
- Support refurbishment, life extension, and plant modification projects.
- Design and assess power distribution, instrumentation, control, and electrical equipment systems.
- Participate in field walkdowns, site investigations, and engineering assessments.
- Support equipment replacement, system upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear, electrical, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.

​ Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
- Experience supporting nuclear refurbishment, modification, or capital projects.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment design, and engineering calculations.
- Experience preparing technical documentation and design deliverables.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments

Assets

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is a strong asset.
- Experience supporting Bruce Power, Pickering, Darlington, OPG, or other nuclear generating stations.
- Familiarity with Canadian nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with electrical system upgrades, power distribution, instrumentation and controls (I&C;), or plant modernization projects.
