Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EIC) Student Engineer to work in our St. John’s office on large scale energy projects for the Fall 2022 work term semester.
Ths sufccessful candidate will be involved in the following:
- assisting in origination of documentation including drawings, specifications, data sheet, bill of materials and reports
- helping ensure the design, analysis and specifications are in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, Wood procedures, and project specific design philosophies
- Adhering to all HSSEQA requirements within the EIC disciplines in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems
- being an intergral member to the EIC team to help deliver client project requirements
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- enrolled in a Post Secondary Engineering Degree Program
- relevant work experience
- an energetic team player
