We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Electrician-Maintenance Worker to fill a position at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital.

In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician/Maintenance Worker V performs skilled electrical work at the journeyman level in installing, constructing, altering, repairing, maintaining, and servicing electrical equipment and systems, such as building automated control systems, access control, building intrusion and security camera systems. Performs, operates, and maintains heating and air conditioning units, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility. Performs mechanical maintenance, repairs and replacement duties related to the physical plant, buildings, and equipment.

Performs trades duties approaching the journeyman level in one or a variety of trades areas such as plumbing and painting in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. May supervise Maintenance Workers and other designated staff.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:00 to 15:00
