We're Hiring: Elevator Mechanic Apprentice

Select Elevator Solutions Inc. | London, Ontario | Full-time

Select Elevator Solutions is a Canadian leader providing maintenance, service, and installation of wind turbine service lifts and other lifting devices within wind turbines across Canada. We also work in industrial spaces installing specialized freight elevators of various sizes and capacities. We're excited about growing our team and are looking for apprentices ready to build a specialized hands-on career.

Your Role

Perform maintenance, service, and installation of wind turbine service lifts and other lifting devices within wind turbines

Work in a team environment, 8-12 hour shifts

Work at heights

Accurately complete documentation for every task performed

Your Skills

EDM-T or wind farm experience is an asset, but not required

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills A safety-focused mindset

Ability to identify, assess, and resolve problems independently

Willingness to work in remote locations across Canada for extended periods, sometimes on short notice





Flexibility for varying schedules - overtime, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical capability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Confidence operating power and hand tools safely

Ability to work in adverse and extreme weather conditions

Fall Protection/Working from Heights certificate preferred but not required (GWO-WAH is a preferred)

Standard First Aid certificate preferred but not required

Fire awareness and material handling certificate preferred but not required

Strong verbal and written communication skills
