Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus,



and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a recent multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). Relevant Experience

Extensive experience in preparing and analyzing pro forma projections for start-up ventures

Extensive experience in translating business plans into funding requirements for start-up ventures

Deep familiarity with typical terms and conditions of early-stage equity investments, according to the usual norms and practices in Canada

Knowledgeable of the full range of Canadian venture financing sources and their standard business operations

Must have passed ENT511 (or equivalent course) with a grade of A- or better, or have taught ENT511 (or equivalent course at post-secondary level)

Familiarity with government support programs in Canada and Ontario is an asset (e.g., SR&ED;, IRAP)
