Toronto

Bring exceptional events to life from concept through execution.

BT/A is an independent, full-service marketing, experiential, and events agency based in Toronto. We work with leading brands and organizations to create memorable experiences, from intimate hospitality and dining events to large-scale activations, conferences, festivals, and live events.

We are looking for an Events Manager (8-month contract with the possibility of extension) who thrives in the world of event production and experiential marketing. Someone who can take a creative idea and turn it into a seamless, memorable, and beautifully executed experience.

This is a highly hands-on, production-focused role. You will work across creative, clients, vendors, venues, talent, and internal teams to ensure every detail comes together, from the first production plan to the final guest departure.

What you'll do

- Lead the end-to-end production and execution of events, activations and experiential programs.
- Translate creative concepts into detailed, executable production plans, timelines, budgets and run-of-show documents.
- Manage venues, suppliers, fabricators, caterers, entertainment, staffing, rentals, transportation and other production partners.
- Own event logistics and ensure every detail is considered, coordinated and delivered.
- Conduct site visits, build production schedules and manage event-day setup, show flow and strike.
- Work closely with creative teams to ensure the final experience reflects the intended creative vision and brand standards.
- Manage budgets, quotes, purchase orders, invoices and production expenses.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders and keep projects moving against deadlines and deliverables.
- Lead event-day teams and vendors, troubleshooting issues quickly and calmly when things inevitably change.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors and partners to consistently deliver high-quality experiences.
- Support client communication, presentations and production meetings as required.

- Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience, elevate execution and find smarter ways to deliver against budget.
- Travel within Canada as required for events, site visits and production.

What We're Looking For

- 3–5+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, live events or a related field.
- Proven ability to take an idea from creative concept to physical reality.
- Strong production, project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confident negotiating with vendors and managing production budgets.
- A calm, solutions-oriented approach when faced with last-minute changes or challenges.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, creative teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- A genuine interest in events, hospitality, design, food, culture and creating memorable experiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required by event schedules.
- A "figure it out" mentality. Resourceful, proactive and always looking for a way to make it happen.

The Ideal Candidate

- You are the person who can walk into an empty space and immediately start envisioning how it will come to life.
- You know that great events aren't just about the big idea. They're about the lighting cue being right, the guest journey being seamless,

the chef arriving on time, the tables being perfectly set and the production team knowing exactly what happens next.
- You are equal parts producer, problem-solver, project manager and experience-maker.
- Most importantly, you take pride in being the person behind the scenes who makes the extraordinary look effortless.

What You Can Expect From BT/A
- A team-oriented, senior-led agency environment.
- A diverse mix of projects, clients and experiences.
- Opportunities to work on premium events and experiential campaigns.
- Direct involvement with creative, strategy, production and clients.
- A fast-paced environment where ideas can move quickly from concept to reality.
- A hybrid working model, balanced with the realities of live event production.
- Opportunities to travel within Canada.
