About Blue Peak Ventures

Blue Peak Ventures is a Canadian-based, founder-led real estate company focused on complex residential properties in South Carolina, USA.

We step in when a property cannot move through a normal sale because something is unresolved, such as an estate, missing heirs, title issue, lien, foreclosure, disputed document, or occupant situation. These are the properties many buyers walk away from because the path forward is unclear. Our job is to understand what is holding the property up, bring together the right legal and title support, and help create a practical way forward.

We are still early in building the business, so this is not a role where everything is already figured out for you. You will be part of a small team that is building the systems, processes, and standards needed to handle difficult work well, and to do it more consistently as the company grows.

The Role

Too many priorities, decisions, and follow-ups still flow through the founder. This role creates leverage by protecting the founder’s attention, keeping priorities visible, and ensuring important commitments move forward.

This is not a calendar-only role. You will manage the founder’s operating rhythm: calendar and priority management, meeting preparation, decision tracking, written follow-up, communications, and coordination with internal and external partners. You will help distinguish what is urgent from what is merely loud, make handoffs reliable, and bring recommendations rather than simply forwarding problems.

You will work closely with the Founder & CEO through weekly planning, brief daily check-ins, and clear written follow-up.

About You

You are a capable, adaptable operator who has supported a founder, executive, business owner, or similarly demanding leader.

You make people more effective, not simply more scheduled.

You are organized, technically fluent, and comfortable with AI and automation. You write clearly, learn new tools quickly, and use systems to create clarity and follow-through. You are discreet, service-oriented, and confident managing upward. When a situation is unclear, you gather the key facts, identify options, recommend a path, and escalate the decision that needs to be made.

What We Look For

We hire high-agency, AI-fluent people who create clarity and move work forward. Your title or exact background matters less than your pattern of ownership: you notice what needs attention, form a view, and take appropriate action without waiting to be directed.

You have strong judgment and discretion. You can distinguish what is urgent from what is merely loud, handle sensitive information carefully, and know when to act independently or escalate a decision.

You are reliable and organized. You turn conversations into clear next steps, maintain strong follow-through, and build practical systems that reduce surprises. You communicate clearly, raise concerns early, and bring recommendations rather than problems.

You are curious, optimistic, and comfortable in a business that is still being built. You ask good questions, adapt as priorities change, and enjoy helping capable people solve difficult problems. Occasional time-sensitive matters may require flexibility outside regular working hours.

What This Opportunity Provides

You will work directly with the founder and have a visible impact on how the company operates. You will have room to improve systems, take ownership of meaningful projects, and grow with the business as you earn trust.

The work will be demanding, but purposeful. The standards are high, positive judgment is noticed, and you will help build the operating system the company needs to become more disciplined and effective.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time Canadian employee role, working 40 hours per week and performed remotely from anywhere in Canada. The base salary range is $62,000–$73,000 per year, with the final offer reflecting experience, capability, and the needs of the role.

Blue Peak offers paid time off, statutory holidays, the equipment needed to work effectively, and reimbursement for approved work-related expenses. We are also introducing a health-care benefit; details will be confirmed during the offer process.

Candidates based in Kelowna who can provide meaningful, ongoing in-person local support may be considered at the higher end of the salary range. Local support is not required unless specifically discussed during the hiring process.

How to Apply

If your background looks like a strong match, we will invite you to an introductory conversation. The process will then include a practical exercise and interviews focused on how you think, communicate, and work through real-world priorities.

We will keep you informed throughout the process. Before a final offer, we will complete professional reference checks and any other job-related verification required for the role, with your knowledge and consent.

Thank you for your interest in Blue Peak Ventures. We will review all applications and contact shortlisted candidates with next steps.
