We are looking for new members to join our Member Services team in the Bilingual Member Services Specialist role. Be a part of the supply chain industry and join VPTo view this job posting in French, click here.Bilingual Member Services SpecialistThe role of our Bilingual Member Services Specialist is to cultivate relationships with our member practices and increase awareness around company initiatives and services. As a field-based brand ambassador the role supports our members in providing services to veterinary practices primarily related to distribution and category management. We do this primarily in the field, but also remotely with virtual and phone consults. The successful candidate would be required to have an in-depth knowledge of VP's offerings and practical veterinary experience to help guide our members to services and resources that support their business needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactive practice visits to foster relationships with our membersRegular travel required for management of geographical call cycleServe as a voice for our members, bringing back field information to be utilized internally to better serve themLiaise with members and answer all questions and concerns efficiently and professionallyProvide initial practice needs assessment and support plan to assist practices in goalsOffer one-on-one consultations with practice owners and managers as requestedDevelop and facilitate workshops for member practices in both live and virtual formatsAttend conferences and assist in staffing booths and providing live supportPrepare and submit regular KPIs (key performance indicators)Maintain up to date records of field visits and practice consultsKeep abreast of industry trends and developmentsDemonstrate a commitment to the organization's core values of service, care, respect, integrity, and community by incorporating these principles into daily work, decision-making, and interactions with colleagues, and members.Health & Safety:Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and follows VP's policies and proceduresConducts self with regard for the safety of all employeesParticipates in health and safety training, meetings, and drills as required; is aware of safety and evacuation proceduresReports any health & safety violations or hazards to appropriate contacts (JHSC Representatives, Supervisors, Managers)Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP):Follows and understands all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with respect to Good Manufacturing PracticesCompany Culture:Demonstrates a commitment to VP's core values of service, care, respect, integrity, and community by incorporating these principles into daily work, decision-making, and interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholdersEmbodies and promotes VP's mission of delivering the highest level of service to our member practices through the personal actions of people care.Skills and Knowledge RequiredExcellent written/oral communication skills (English & French)5 years of direct experience in the veterinary industryFamiliar with veterinary concepts,
practices and proceduresExtensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsExcellent problem solving and decision makingEffective organization/time managementThe ability to be flexible with hours and regular travelDemonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining professional networks and connectionsKnowledge of Practice Information Management Software's (PIMS) an assetSchedule and Hours of WorkMonday to Friday 8:30 a.M. to 5:00 p.M.LocationThis is a field/remote hybrid position with the ideal candidate located in the Quebec City area.
