Position Overview: As a Fire Alarm Technician at Allen Fire and Safety Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about their craft, take pride in their work, and thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment. ASTTBC Certification is required. CFAA is a valuable asset.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Inspecting, testing and maintaining fire alarms, sprinklers, backflows, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Work closely with team, providing leadership while remaining approachable and open minded
- Troubleshoot and address issues with existing fire alarm systems, finding solutions
- Keeping clear accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Making safety the standard, not an afterthought

What You Bring:

- ASTTBC certifications I is required (AL,WA,FX & EM)
- BCWWA cross-connection certification




- Proven experience as a fire protection technician
- Robust grasp of relevant codes and regulations
- Sharp troubleshooting instincts and a self-starter mindset
- The kind of communications skills that build trust with clients and teammates alike
- CFAA certification is a bonus, not a requirement

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
