About Us

Baked and Loaded is St. John's loaded baked potato spot, and we're opening our newest location in the Village Mall food court. We're looking for reliable team members to join us from day one.

What You'll Do

- Wrap and bake potatoes
- Season and prep meats
- Portion, label, and seal product for service
- Keep the station organized, clean, and stocked
- Work the cash register and process POS payments
- Assemble and hand off delivery orders (DoorDash/Uber Eats)
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean workspace

What the Job Is Like

Straightforward quick-service work — similar pace and duties to a Subway or other food court counter. Most of the job is prepping, heating, assembling, and serving. No late nights, no split shifts.

Shifts

- Opener: 10:00 AM–4:30 PM — prep and open the store for 11:30
- Closer: 12:00 PM–7:30 PM — close out at 7:30

Roughly 6-hour shifts, rotating or fixed depending on your availability.

Want More Hours?

We also run a very busy food truck on George Street operating late night (9:00 PM–3:30 AM).



Extra shifts there are available to mall staff on a completely voluntary basis — a good option if you want more hours or tips. Zero obligation; the mall job stands on its own.

What We're Looking For

- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with customers and handling payments
- Able to stand for full shifts and keep a clean station
- Food safety experience an asset, not required — we'll train you

Note the George Street truck tips will be much better than the food court — that's honestly your best hook for the voluntary shifts, which is why I framed it around "more hours or tips." One thing to watch: someone closing the mall at 7:30 then working the truck 9–3:30 is a 15+ hour day, so keep those on separate days when scheduling.
