About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Front Desk & Customer Service Representative to become a key part of our team.

This isn't a typical receptionist position. Our front desk is the communication hub of the company. You'll be answering phones, responding to emails, greeting walk-in customers, processing orders, and helping customers find the right products. Every day is different, and you'll often be managing several priorities at once.

The ideal person is highly organized, learns quickly, enjoys solving problems, and stays calm under pressure. If you're someone who enjoys mastering new information and takes pride in getting the details right, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

- Customer Interaction: Greet walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and respond to emails professionally and efficiently. Follow up with customers to give them updates as necessary. Keep customer records organized and up to date.
- Sales & Quoting: Process all sales orders using ERP system and other internal procedures. Process payments and refunds for in person, phone and online customers.
- Product Knowledge: Learn about our product lines to provide technical and product-specific information to customers.
- Solution provider: Support both in person and online customers with order fulfillment including tracking information. Coordinate with our sales, production and service teams.
- Counter Sales: Handle, upsell, and cross-sell products to walk-in clients in the store.
- Invoicing: Create invoices in a timely manner for completed orders.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist with inventory control, sourcing, and occasionally packing or picking orders during peak times. Assist in keeping store price tags updated.
- Showroom: Assist with keeping showroom well-stocked,



neat and tidy.
- Other duties: As assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service, office administration, or order entry experience
- Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent typing and data entry accuracy
- Experience with ERP software (NetSuite) is considered an asset
- Experience in a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person
