Hi all sugar lovers, if you love cake this is the place to be! We're a cute shop with a fun little team, come join us! ThimbleCakes is hiring a part-time front of house and prep baker team member! We are looking for someone with a love of baking and an eye for detail who enjoys working in a small team.

This position consists of morning, daytime, and evening shifts. Friday and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Take orders and chat about our delicious treats!
- Prepare, bake and decorate a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, scones, etc.
- Fulfill daily orders
- Follow recipes and designs to ensure all products meet quality standards
- Clean and maintain kitchen and front of house area and all equipment

Requirements/Skills





- Prior experience in the food industry
- Solid communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment

Must have a food handlers certificate or willing to complete one upon hiring.

This role may require employees to be on their feet for 8 hours/day with some heavy lifting.
