We're looking for a dependable Janitor to join our full-time team at Chances Salmon Arm. If you take pride in a job well done, like staying active throughout your shift, and are comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

As a key member of our team, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and employees. Your work happens behind the scenes, but it makes a big difference to the guest experience.

What You'll Do

- Keep guest areas, staff areas, and common spaces clean, organized, and presentable
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Clean and sanitize gaming equipment and high-touch surfaces
- Keep washrooms clean, sanitized, stocked, and ready for guests
- Empty garbage and recycling and maintain designated waste areas
- Monitor the facility throughout your shift and take care of cleaning needs as they arise
- Follow established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Follow applicable BCLC, WHMIS, and WorkSafe requirements
- Work with the team to keep the property looking its best
- Assist with other cleaning and operational duties as needed

What We're Looking For

You don't need to have years of janitorial experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to the details
- Is dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently




- Can stay organized and keep busy without constant direction
- Is comfortable being on their feet and doing physical work throughout the shift
- Can adapt when priorities change or the facility gets busy
- Takes workplace safety seriously
- Is professional and respectful when working around guests and team members
- Is 19 years of age or older
- Is eligible to obtain a criminal record clearance through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
