General Description

Supports daily production activities in a manufacturing environment. Assist with material handling, equipment operation, and general shop duties while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Move materials throughout the facility using manual methods or equipment (e.g., electric handcart, jib cranes – certification)
- Support machine operators and production staff as needed.
- Perform basic assembly, grinding, deburring and finished tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Conduct visual quality inspections of parts.
- Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to supervisors.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned
