Headquartered in Langley, British Columbia K-Line Trailers Ltd. is the premier manufacturer of high-quality heavy haul multi-axle truck trailers (low-beds) and dump boxes in Western Canada. K-Line’s reputation within the industry is second to none and their product offering is well diversified. The company serves various industries, including construction, agriculture, food processing, forestry, transportation, military and mining.

K-Line’s products include pony trailers, transfer trailers, dump bodies, low-beds, multi-axle heavy haul, side dumps, end dumps, and other specialty truck trailers.

The Opportunity:

K-Line is seeking a hands-on General Manager who brings strong sales leadership together with an operational background. This individual will drive sales, lead manufacturing operations, work closely with engineering to deliver customized solutions, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. The successful candidate will combine strong business judgment with technical curiosity and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, employees and industry partners.

The Responsibilities:

- Spend time with the team to understand K-Line’s culture, products, customers and market position.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue across British Columbia, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
- Lead with a hands-on, approachable style that builds trust across sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance and administration.
- Work closely with customers and engineering to translate customer needs into practical,



customized trailer solutions.
- Build and develop a collaborative, high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability, manage financial performance and strategic planning.
- Grow the sales team, strengthen existing customer relationships and expand into new markets, to improve profitability and support long-term growth.
- Lead manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, profitability and customer expectations.
- Establish and monitor key business and operational performance measures.
- Improve production planning, workflow, systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

The Requirements:

- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, within a custom or engineered products business.
- Proven sales leader with a track record of growing key accounts, developing current markets and strategic partnerships, with a strong understanding of the dealership model.
- Strong understanding of custom manufacturing and experience working closely with engineering to balance customer requirements with operational capabilities.
- Demonstrated success leading manufacturing operations, including production, quality, scheduling and on-time delivery.
- Experience improving systems,



processes and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial reporting and connecting operational performance to business results.
- Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams, with an approachable leadership style that fosters trust, collaboration and accountability.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, owner-led business where flexibility, initiative, sound judgment and strong relationships are essential.
- Willingness to travel throughout British Columbia, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest to support customers and business development.
