Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

- Robust formal and informal leadership skills.
- Competently provide instruction to students.
- Teach the courses of study and education programs that are prescribed, approved or authorized pursuant to the Education Act.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.

Desired Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in education.
- Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply).

A recent Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check will be required if you are the successful applicant.This position is from August 31, 2026 - September 30, 2026, but could be extended.
