Are you a skilled CNC machinist with experience in precision grinding? We are seeking a CNC Universal Grinder to perform external and internal grinding operations on metallic components, ensuring parts meet exact specifications and customer quality expectations. This role offers the chance to work with advanced CNC equipment in a supportive environment where safety, precision, and continuous improvement are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC Universal Grinders to achieve required dimensions and finishes
- Interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and programs to determine machining requirements
- Mount, dress, and select appropriate grinding wheels for each operation
- Load CNC programs into machine controls and verify machining dimensions against blueprints
- Secure components using magnetic chucks or jigs for accurate grinding operations
- Perform grinding to final dimensions, ensuring tasks are completed within specified run times
- Conduct minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Monitor machine performance, detecting issues such as worn or damaged grinding wheels
- Collaborate with team leaders and colleagues to meet timelines and resolve discrepancies
- Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards, Job Instruction Sheets, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a precision machining or grinding environment
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints and process sheets
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Universal Grinders preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot minor machining issues
- Knowledge of ISO standards and safe work practices
