Primary Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine installation specifications
- Prepare layouts in conformance to internal drawings using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of steel.
- Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints
- Safely use various power tools including, but not limited to, drills and saws.
- Work collaboratively between departments to ensure efficiency in the build process.
- Take direction from Site Foreman on tasks to be completed.
- Ensure attention to detail to maintain quality of work.
- Perform well under a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
- Champion General Contractor and RWC safety guidelines and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate




- Minimum 2‑3 years experience working in a similar role
- 1‑2 years’ trade school certificate considered an asset
- Class 5 Drivers License
