Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role located in Canmore, AB at Rapunzels AVEDA Hair Salon & Spa. The Hairstylist will provide cutting, coloring, styling, and hair care services using Aveda products, ensuring each guest receives personalized, high-quality service. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with guests to understand their needs, recommending suitable styles and treatments, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation in accordance with health and safety standards.

The role involves working collaboratively with other salon and spa professionals to create a welcoming environment, educating guests on home hair care routines,



and supporting overall salon operations such as booking follow-up appointments and promoting retail products. The Hairstylist is expected to stay current with trends and techniques and contribute to the salon’s reputation for exceptional service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.
- Candidates should possess Cosmetology training and knowledge of professional Hair Care practices and products.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest comfort, satisfaction, and repeat visits.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to conduct thorough consultations and provide clear product and service recommendations.
- Relevant qualifications include completion of a recognized hairstyling or cosmetology program and valid provincial licensing where required.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience working with Aveda products, commitment to environmentally conscious practices, and ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
