Required Qualifications:

- Ability to get along with and communicate with a wide range of people
- Capacity to recognize the facility needs and respond accordingly
- Superior cleaning skills
- Superior planning skills
- Leadership in assigning and completing caretaker duties
- Repair and maintenance skills of caretaking equipment
- Commitment to workplace safety through:
- Modeling best practices related to safety
- Consistent monitoring of work site to identify and remedy potential hazards
- Requiring and monitoring �work protected' practices of supervised staff
- Successful caretaking experience
- Commitment to professional growth and development
- Successful demonstration of regular maintenance to a facility mechanical system and skills in architectural and plumbing repairs
- Ability to problem solve
- Warehouse and forklift experience an asset.
- Is physically fit as a substantial amount of lifting is required.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 25 kg. without assistance
- Commitment to work duties within the classification and reliability in attendance
- Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education
Terms of Employment:
- As per Collective Agreement
- 8.0 hours/day
- To begin a.s.a.p. (and continue to September 30, 2026, or the return of the incumbent, if earlier)
- Salary range: $24.04 - $28.16 per hour
