By combining advanced automation with expert legal counsel, we replace opaque, paper-heavy processes with a transparent, tech-enabled experience. We've already helped 70+ high-growth startups and enterprises navigate the immigration landscape. We're backed by Y Combinator, have raised $2.7M from leading VCs, and have a strong presence in Silicon Valley. Now, we're looking for top talent to help us scale. Our goal is simple: let software handle the busy work so attorneys can focus on strategy, and immigrants can focus on their future.Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly organized Immigration Case Manager to join our remote team. In this role, you will serve as the "quarterback" for our clients, orchestrating the end-to-end petition process for high-growth startups and top-tier international talent. While our legal team handles the heavy substantive drafting, you will own the client experience, project management, and data integrity. You will bridge the gap between founders, foreign nationals, and our attorneys, ensuring that evidence is collected, timelines are met, and the process feels seamless.Unlike traditional firms where you are buried in physical files, at Gale, you will use our proprietary software to manage workflows at speed. You aren't just pushing paper; you are managing the critical path for someone's life-changing move to the U.S.Core ResponsibilitiesCaseload Orchestration: Manage a high volume of employment-based cases (O-1A, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, PERM) from initiation to filing. You will onboard new clients, explain procedural roadmaps, and answer non-legal process questions with empathy and speed.Evidence Collection & Strategy: Work directly with talent to extract the right documents for their case.
You will guide them on what evidence is needed to prove their eligibility, organizing complex data into clear, usable files for the legal team.Data Integrity & QA: Maintain rigorous digital hygiene within the Gale platform. You ensure that every date, document, and status update is accurate, serving as the final quality check before attorney review.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in business immigration (Law firm or in-house). You must be fluent in the alphabet soup of visas (H-1B, O-1, L-1, TN, PERM) and understand the procedural lifecycle of each.Project Management DNA: You are naturally obsessive about organization. You know how to prioritize 50+ open threads, manage deadlines, and nudge clients for documents without being annoying.Tech-Native: You are comfortable stepping away from paper files and legacy server folders. You are proficient with modern tools (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) and eager to master our proprietary tech stack.Client-Facing Polish: You have excellent communication skills. You can explain complex government processes in easy, reassuring terms to stressed founders and candidates. The Mission: You hate opacity. You take pride in a clean dashboard and a happy client because you know your organization powers the broader mission of helping talent move borders. The Attitude: You are a solver, not just a sender. If a client is stuck on a document, you hop on a call to help them find it. You are gritty, reliable, and proactive. What you can expectCompensation: CAD$70k — CAD$80k/year, depending on experience and case volume capability.Location: Office in Vancouver, BC.Career Trajectory: Growth potential within a rapidly scaling startup. You will have the opportunity to move into Senior Case Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Legal Operations roles.Impact: Your work directly enables founders and scientists to build the future in the U.S. You aren't just processing paperwork; you are unlockinghumanpotential.Agility: A fast-paced environment where your feedback on our workflow will directly influence how our engineering team builds our software to make your job easier.
