The Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking Full‑Time Radiologists with interests in Mammography, Body Imaging and/or Interventional Radiology, to join a collegial and well‑equipped department dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered imaging services. The successful candidates will work alongside a team of experienced radiologists and technologists in a up-to-date, community‑based hospital setting that serves a diverse and growing population.
Key Responsibilities
Reflecting the needs of our busy community hospital, approximately two‑thirds of the workload involves general radiology, including plain radiography, GI fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and high‑volume CT and MRI. Experience in MSK, Cardiac and Nuclear Medicine, or a willingness to develop competency in each, is considered an asset. Participation in multidisciplinary case reviews is expected.
Qualifications and Certifications
Successful candidates will bring special expertise to support one or more of the following:
- The Complete Breast Care Program – Interpreting Diagnostic / screening mammograms, to include, tomosynthesis, contrast enhanced mammograms and ideally MRI, as well as perform image guided breast biopsies and seed localizations
- Body imaging, to include image guided procedures, such as thyroid biopsies, joint injections and Fluoroscopic procedures
- Interventional radiology, mainly comprising GI and GU tract interventions; a wide spectrum of biopsies, including lung; venous access; spine procedures; inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement, and varicocele embolization.
