Canadian Tire is offering a 12 to 16 month co‑op placement for a Transportation Assets Analysis Student starting Fall 2026 in Brampton, ON.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct data analysis on fleet operations, including maintenance costs, asset utilization, and total cost of ownership
- Gather and validate data from internal systems and external sources to support business initiatives
- Analyze owned and rented fleet performance, including vendor service levels and utilization trends
- Develop reports, dashboards, and insights to support operational decision‑making
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
- Document processes and support the development of training and reference materials
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including Fleet Maintenance, Operations, Finance, and IT teams

What You Bring:

- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required); experience with Access or other data tools is an asset




- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Experience with Power BI, Python, or other data visualization tools is a strong asset

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Preferred: Third‑year student or higher
- Previous co‑op or internship experience considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, or process improvement work

Salary:

$23.00 – $30.00 CAD per hour (typical hiring range). Broadband range: $23.00 – $37.00 CAD per hour.
