Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician
Location: Gormley, ON.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This permanent opportunity is ideal for a skilled technician with strong troubleshooting skills and experience servicing heavy equipment in a field-based environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform field repairs and servicing of heavy equipment at customer job sites
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Inspect equipment to identify faults, failures, and potential issues
- Complete repairs, adjustments, and component replacements using hand and power tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on construction equipment
- Service attachments and related equipment components
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
- Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Order parts and materials required to complete repairs efficiently
- Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Work collaboratively with service and operations teams to ensure timely repairs and support
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions as required
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience as a Field Service or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience repairing construction equipment such as CAT, Genie, Skyjack, or similar equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and equipment controls
- Experience with diagnostic software (CAT ET/SIS considered an asset)
- Valid G Class driver’s license with clean driving record
- Solid communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel to customer job sites
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
