Position Overview:Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford GTD Mustang.MNVNA is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer & DMN Administrator who will be responsible for creating, tracking, administrating and following up on all Internal and External DMNs (Defective Material Notifications) and Quality Alerts. As well as following the 24-hour containment, 14-day permanent corrective action and 30-day corrective action verification and closure rules. They will assume ownership of the External DMN log, Internal DMN & Cost of Quality log. The Junior Quality Engineer & DMN Administrator will be the primary point of contact for all supplier quality issues.Duties & Responsibilities:Issue/initiate DMNs for supplier quality issues discovered in all areas of the manufacturing and warehouse floorAdminister DMN LogIssue/initiate Quality Alerts for supplier quality concerns discovered in all areas of the manufacturing and warehouse floorAdminister Quality Alert LogIssue/initiate internal DMNs to track (COQ) Cost of Quality due to MNV caused defective materialAdminister Internal DMN/COQ Log24-hour, 14-day and 30-day follow-up on all issued supplier DMNsParticipate in Quality training functions as requiredMaintain customer, company and supplier confidentialityMust comply with all ISO9001/TS16949, ISO Environmental)



and OHSA (Health and Safety) systems and standardsAdhering to Multimatic's quality-focused attitude and work cultureAll other duties as assignedEducation & Experience:Engineering Technologist Diploma or Engineering DegreeA minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in Tier 1 Automotive Quality EngineeringSound knowledge of 8D Process & solid knowledge of Root Cause AnalysisWorking experience with Automotive Customer Specifics including AIAG requirementsSound understanding of SPC, Engineering Drawings, CAD & GD&TExperience in supplier quality assurance is an assetThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
