All applications are reviewed by human reviewers.Position SummaryThe Plant Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This role works closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure seamless integration of current processes, equipment, and technologies.The Plant Engineer monitors process performance, performs data-driven analysis, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. This position ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while driving sustainable improvements in efficiency, waste reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).About YouAt our company, we are looking for exceptional individuals who can meet the following criteria:Analyze complex manufacturing systems and implement effective improvementsManage multiple projects and competing prioritiesWork independently and take ownership of initiativesLead cross-functional teams through change and implementationAdapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentInterpret technical data and translate findings into actionable improvementsEducation & Experience Education; Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing,
or related Engineering disciplines requiredMaster's degree in Engineering or related field considered an assetProfessional Engineering (P.Eng) designation or working toward designation considered an assetExperience; Minimum 5+ years of experience in process or plant engineering within manufacturing environmentExperience with process validation, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiativesProject management and plant commissioning experience considered an assetTechnical Expertise; Strong knowledge of LeanManufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and process optimization methodologiesExperience with statistical analysis, process modeling, and simulation toolsfamiliarity with automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA) preferredKnowledge of ISO standards and quality management systemsProficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software toolsKnowledgeManufacturing process design and optimizationStatistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability studiesLean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream MappingAutomation and control systems (PLC, SCADA)Quality management systems (ISO standards)Process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory complianceRoot cause analysis and corrective action methodologiesSkillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProcess modeling and data-driven decision-makingProject management and prioritizationTechnical writing and documentation developmentEffective cross-functional collaborationStrong verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational and time-management skillsWorking ConditionsCombination of office and manufacturing plant environmentexposure to dirt, noise, heat,
