Overview A private household in Mississauga is seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care for children in the employer's home. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the children, supporting their daily routines, preparing meals, organizing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Take children to and from school and appointments as required
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties




- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Cook meals as required

Qualifications
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Previous child care experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate in English
- Reliable, responsible and organized
- Able to work independently in a private household environment
